My Pearl, My Everything
Pearl is a bright, curious little girl who lives life fully — even with sickle cell disease. She visits the doctor more than most kids, takes her medicine every day, and faces hard moments with quiet strength. But more than anything, Pearl is joyful, expressive, and fiercely loved.
Her story was written to give children with sickle cell a face, a voice, and a reminder that they are never alone — and to show the world around them that difference and strength can live in the same small body.
