Inspiring the Next Generation Through Art, Mentorship, and Community

One of my most meaningful personal goals is to inspire and support young students — especially those in my hometown of Ridge Spring, South Carolina. Since 2015, I have sponsored art competitions at my alma mater, Ridge Spring–Monetta High School, encouraging students to create original work that highlights their creativity and diverse talents. Each year, more than 40 students participate in the program. All participating students are invited to a Q&A session, where I share real-world insights from my career as a graphic artist and designer across freelance, agency, and corporate environments. Giving back doesn't stop at art. In 2026, I was proud to contribute a $100 donation to Ridge Spring–Monetta High School in support of their community kindness garden — a project that nurtures both students and the community that shaped me.
