Shawn Meekins is a Senior Graphic Designer, Global Visual Media Content Designer, fine artist, and children's book author specializing in visual storytelling and brand-driven design. Since graduating from The Art Institute of Atlanta, he has built a diverse portfolio across digital and print media — collaborating with major organizations, including 3M, to shape and elevate how their stories are visually communicated across the USA, EMEA, and Canada.

His work spans realism portraiture, illustration, and intentional design systems — blending strong composition, thoughtful color, and visual clarity to create narratives that resonate. He integrates AI-assisted design tools into his creative workflow daily, bringing both traditional craft and modern efficiency to every project. His portrait work, which includes historical figures and Moorish-inspired subjects, is available through his Redbubble shop.

As a children's book author, Shawn has developed a multilingual catalog for readers ages 2–15, published through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. His titles include Is There Something in the Woods?, Look With Me! ABC Activity Book, and Landmark Leaders: Trailblazers Who Shaped History — available in English, French, Spanish, and German. He is a proud member of SCBWI.

Based in Southern Pines, NC, Shawn balances his creative practice with family life as a father of four. Outside of his work, he enjoys films, international travel, and time with family and friends.
